Room divider curtain
Aug. 24th, 2004 10:35 amSo... in my appartment, we've got two bedrooms, one of which we use for a computer room. This room has no door, and branches off a hallway which has the bathroom on it. (Hard to explain) When we moved in there was a horrid plastic folding door in the doorway leading to this hallway (which provided a door to the computer room, but also blocked off the bathroom.)
So I got a tension rod to put up in the hallway past the bathroom, but still providing privacy to the computer room. I just don't know what to hang up. I don't want absolute complete privacy - just you know, something to throw across the door, and a little decoration. The thing is - we've got a dog, so I also don't want anything she can chew (still a puppy, you know.) I've made curtains from sheets before (dyed them orange for my room.) I was thinking maybe trying my hand at silkscreening, but don't know what kind of images to use.
Or anything else you guys can come up with? No cd-strands or dried fruit-strands or anything. My parents, when they had to do this during construction just went and got a shower curtain!
