craftgrrl | No sew t-shirt pick-me-up.... (cross-posted to craftygoths & my lj)

Ok, so I followed the directions for the Tinkerbelly shirt on Maria's DIY site. It was easy. It was fun. I used an existing men's shirt and modified it a bit more. I'm a big girl and that thing just did not fit over my hips, so I made the bottom ragged, too.

I figured it was the thing to do since I have a billion and one safety pins hanging out around the house.

The shirt says:
Pierced
Deal With It

I don't wear it so much anymore, but it's a fun shirt. It just needed a pick-me-up.

And unlike everyone else here, I will not apologize for
my fat bits because I refuse to apologize for
any body part, let alone all of me.

I may wear it tomorrow to pick up my mom at the airport as I need something cool in the humid 80 degree weather. I think it would look smashing with that zebra skirt & a pair of chucks.
