Hi! Look what I made last night!
Time just slipped away from me, and all of a sudden it was midnight! Yeep! I nearly turned into a pumpkin! But I’m so trilled to have this new pillow to match our kitschy guest bedroom. It’s currently very grandmotherly, but I’m planning on kicking up the kitsch factor so it’s more stylish and fun. The kooky floral wallpaper is my inspiration for the colour scheme.
I got this stencil from Sushi McFune’s site and I got the tattoo print Alexander Henry fabric on eBay.
Here are more photos:
Here is the back of the pillow. The pillow sham is removable and I just put a pre-purchased pillow form inside it. This is how my grandmother always makes them. It’s more washable this way, and it just looks nice and professional… in a crafty kind of way.

Here is the pillow in its natural habitat. Yes, I am too busy making things to shorten my curtains. I need a houseboy to do things like that. ;-)

And, lastly… this is a close-up picture of my great wallpaper, and a painting I made of a Christmas Pumpkin. I hate Xmas and I love Halloween, so I made this at Xmas last year to cheer myself up. It’s painted with underglazes on a slab of handmade pottery.

That’s it for now! Thanks once again to all you craftgrrls for keeping me inspired!!
