hi. i saw the section "mannequins: making/buying/using/etc" in the memories and thought this might be something good to go in there...

my little sister wanted to start making her own clothes and get a sewing machine this summer. (she wanted the stuff for her birthday, coming up soon.) my mom saw a store in the mall going out of business, and they had mannequins in the window. my mom went in and asked if they were by any chance for sell. well, they were. and they were only $10! (i think.. i know it was around that price.) my mom bought it for my sister and gave it to her then. this was a "tween" store, but my guess is that other stores probably get rid of their mannequins and stuff. so if you want one, look for stores going out of business. you might get stares if you're carrying one out of the mall (like my mom and sister did), but it's cool. :)
