Help!

Hiya everyone-
I am hoping for some help/ suggestions...(hope it's OK to post this here)...
I had a dream last night where for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, I made him a scrap book about our life together (we've been in a relationship for 6 years)...
I really think I may do this, and I probably had the dream because I spend so much time on Craftster.org!
So, please help with suggestions for a first time scrap booker...I am thinking of looking around at the local Michael's, Jo Ann's, Wal Mart, etc. for supplies.
There is no shortage of photos, concert tickets, notes, do dads, etc. for me to use, the problem is more putting it together cohesively and creatively.

P.S. I'm a little stressed about this as his birthday is November 8th...will that be enough time??? If not, he's just getting that beer- making kit after all! lol
