another question

oh wise craftgrrls....

i'm thinking of buying a cheap journal and pasting cool quotes/pics/whatever in it as a gift for a friend. my question is, what do you think would be the best was to stick them? i was thinking i'd print them out on the 'puter in neat fonts....but was thinking that a glue stick may not be the best choice.

any wisdom for me?

p.s. thanks to all who responded on my altered books question--i'm starting a small one from a board book that my son had lying around, just to start simple.
