craftgrrlmy roommate and i got pretty bored today and were looking for some "mood-lighting". haha.
the new lampshade on our wal-mart-bought lamp/table
lit-up
we modified and used this template: http://www.ruthannzaroff.com/mirkwooddesigns/takeout.htm
made out of black cardboard, and lots of tape. it was a bit saggy on the bottom, so we broke a cd and taped it to the underside for more support.
we cut out the kanji characters for "best friend" w/ an x-acto knife and put tracing paper behind it.
we're thinking of making a smaller, matching one for our dry-erase markers
it's still a bit unstable, but we like it :)
