for x-mas gifts, crochet scarfs can be made really quickly with a big needle. i was panicking because i wanted to make a few people scarves, so now they are thicker because when you wrap it, the larger crochet holes won't matter. it's much much faster. i'm almost done one i started two hours ago. at that rate, i could make one a day until christmas and have enough gifts done!
question:
i'm about to get a sewing machine! is it worth the $40.00 to get the carrying case? i don't think i will need to travel with it.....but it could be handy for storage. opinions?
