He's made out of red fur, and blue felt. The suckers on the three tentacles are buttons, and the eyes are plasitc. The little pirate is made from a cotton material, her clothes felt, and her hair yarn. And this was all sewn on a machine and hand sewn over a period of on and off for three days. He's much bigger than I was planning! It's for a contest where participants were asked to make something in any media that showed pirates vs. monsters. Mine was the losing battle and a pirate being dinner!

I'm a real beginner at sewing, so this was a massive undertaking for me.
