cheesecloth ghosts

This ghost is freestanding, made out of starched cheesecloth. Just in case you are interested, I made a quick tutorial too.



Make armatures out of tinfoil and plastic pop bottles.
Cut enough cheesecloth to be able to drape over the bottle, with excess laying on the ground around the bottom.
Take the cheesecloth off and soak it in liquid starch (or dissolve a ton of sugar in water on the stove) and drape it over your armature.



Let dry and glue eyes on. voila...the ghost is see through and stands on her own.


(the flash isn't so bright on this picture. you can backlight them in coloured lights for halloween as well)
