Autumn girl piece
Oct. 26th, 2004 05:58 pmI've been working on some pieces to submit to my local guild as I'm desperate to join it. Behind the cut is a photo of an autumn girl piece I've made to be the centre piece of a double bed art quilt. I'm a little worried it's a bit busy. Sometimes I kinda go mad and do too much to a piece, but I guess it's too late to change it now anyway.

She's 30" x 30", beads, embossing metal, image transfers, melted fabric, machine embroidery.
Her lips look a little brighter here than they are because the beads caught the flash.
