Thank you all for your help, i decided how we should get the suit white.

as promised,


we ended up painting his suit with 3 bottles of children's tempera paint... thank god it didn't rain or he would've been standing in a puddle of white paint.
i added gold glitter to the trim with white glue, then sprayed gold hair glitter all over it. we made a halo, and attatched it to a plastic hat, then we made what he calls his "pimp dowel, because that is NOT a cane". it was in fact a dowel painted white, with glitter and an angel tree decoration on it. i made wings out of a boa and attatched them to the back.

for my costume, i made the corset, as well as the skirt. the corset was red vinyl, and the skirt was multiple layers of tulle sewed to a slip.

TIP: layers of tulle make the slip ride up. you could see my ass half of the night. not a good plan...

and i'm very excited... i'm in fine art at college, and the party we went to was a fund raiser for our end of year show/catalog. we raised $250 (that's AFTER paying for the kegs!)
