I bought the most wonderful coat for only $17 USD. It looks like this, except the faux fur trim has longer hairs, and is fuzzier. I want to replace the faux fur trim with the faux wool on shearling jackets like < http://www.oldnavy.com/asp/product.asp?:=l&wdid=20070&wpid=175782>this one, but I don't know where to find the material, or how to go about it. I believe if I could trim down the fur, I might be able to sew it, but I'm not sure, and it's a beautiful coat, it'd be a shame to ruin it...

Any help or advice on finding the material and doing it?t
