greetings fellow craftsters!

first of all, i wanted to show off my newest addition. my aunt gave me a

for my 22nd birthday. does anyone else have this model? i'm pretty excited, i've been handsewing for a few years now and that gets old pretty quickly!

secondly, i have made a whole bunch of those book thongs you've been hearing about. i made about 16 of them, and with the cost of supplies they came to be about $3 a piece! and fyi, i ordered all of the charms (if you can see them in photo below) through their website.

i'm finishing some handmade boxes to put them in, using this template. the box pictured was made out of some tagboard i found at my parents' house (cardstock is preferable, it's easier to fold!).

now i only have to find gifts for the guys on my list...i'll keep watching here for ideas!
