Put your brains to work!
Dec. 6th, 2004 04:29 pmAlright guys, I need to pick your oh-so-creative brains =D
I'm making a no-sew fleece blanket for my boyfriend for Christmas. Pretty easy, right? It's going to be two different shades of green and fabulous. However..
I also want to put a phrase on it somehow. I don't know if I want to stick it on in contrasting thread, or sew on fleece letters, or what. All I know is it has to be soft, visible (but preferably fairly small), and quick/easy.
The phrase:
It's an Irish proverb in its original Gaelic. (In English: May you have warm words on a cold evening, A full moon on a dark night, And the road downhill all the way to your door.)
Any ideas? Thanks so much guys =) I'm at a total loss here. Also, any words of caution before I start making the blanket? It seems pretty straightforward, I'm not expecting many problems.
