craftgrrl | first finished knitting!

I've knitted through most of a ribbed scarf but it was taking too long and I really just wanted to make this hat, so when I got the K2P2 thing down, I started making it. It was kind of complicated, but a very fun challenge that convinces me that knitting is fun and I need to do it more. I tucked my bangs for all but one picture just to show the hat better (sorry crappy webcam pics) and I included the original hat picture so you can see the texture, since I did mine in black and threaded a pink ribbon through the top so I could tie it on. The pattern is from headhuggers.org, a site of patterns for making hats for chemo patients. Since I was very selfish and made it just for me, I'll be making the next hat for headhuggers!
