craftgrrl | Uses for clear duct tape

I'm new here, so Hi!

And I have a quick question. I want to make my dad a duct tape wallet for christmas. Lined in regular duct-tape, but with clear duct tape and Monty Python pictures on the outside. No big problem... But clear duct tape is $5.00 at Wal-mart, and I'm on a low budget. And I can't think of anything I'd possibly use the clear stuff for. So... any ideas? Even if it's not crafty and just an everyday sort of chore. Or is there something else I could use for the wallet?

So sorry... I'm sure new people come out of the woodwork for help during the holidays like crazy. I promise I'll post pics of stuff later.
