Dec. 9th, 2004 10:42 pmHi :) This is my first time posting.
I saw a purse on here a couple of days ago that was made in the style of these Margaret Nicole bags...they are so beautiful!
I have resolved to learn how to cable knit, and then attempt one as my Christmas vacation project. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make it so that the handles are attached to the yarn on both ends...so "live stitches" are around both of the handles...at the beginning, and end. How do you think the bag is made...is it just like one piece folded in half, or are their side strips...or is it just folded in the bottom corners to give it dimension?
I'm analyzing it :) Here is a picture : Thanks!!
