craftgrrlI heard a vicious rumour that knitted wool shrinks more lengthwise than widthwise when you felt it. HOWEVER... the scarf I'm going to felt is knitting horizontally, with looong (210 sts) vertical stripes, on circular needles. So should I expect it to shrink more widthwise, since the stitches run that way?
