craftgrrl | Ideas for boring cabinet...?

I am lookin for advice about decorating this cabinet of mine. It is plain white, about two meters tall, and I am itching to spruce it up somehow. Here is a picture of what it looks like now:

What would you do? I am thinking either painting it black and white checkerboard pattern, or maybe different geometric patterns on each panel/door/drawer/etc... stripes, dots, checkers. I thought about covering it with collage and decoupage, but am afraid that might make it look to "junky" if you know what I mean. Plus it is REALLY big, and it would take FOREVER to collect enough cool images. The cabinet is full of baby clothes and stuff, not sure if that matters, haha.

Anyway... I'm not yet quite sure what I want to do... there is no real "theme" to my home. I like all kinda stuff no matter what the style. ALSO, I am a horrible painter, hahaha. Stripes and whatnot I can do, a landscape or cartoon characters or whatever... no way. Sigh.

I'm open to mediums other than painting.. any input is welcomed. Help me!
