i want to mod podge stuff onto this shelf i am making.

i really want to put it in the bathroom when it's finished but my bathroom gets VERY steamy [wink wink, jk!] when showering because it's really tiny and the water is always very hot.

does anyone know if this is a good idea?
will my mod podged shelf get ruined by bathroom steam?
i'm thinking it will but i REALLY need a shelf in there. it's so cluttered and gross.

and maybe if not my shelf, anyone else have some crafty suggests of clutter fixers i can put in there?
