Knitting

Woo hoo! My mom is teaching me how to knit. Does anyone know of some really awesome sites for patterns, yarn types, or techniques? My mom is a great teacher and all, but her way of teaching is to power-knit and then tell me to do what she just did. She can't explain things well. I am catching on pretty well though. I have started this little practice piece that is like 2 inches wide, and since she hasn't been home all day, I don't know how to end it...so it is getting long. I told my dad it was going to be a scarf for the dog.

Oh yeah, and to the person who posted the "snowman poop" gift idea...that was great. I am now giving two of my friends mugs, hot chocolate, and SNOWMAN POOP! Thanks for the great idea.
