craftgrrl | I need some help with two things. =P

For me it's really hard to find jeans that fit me, as my inside leg is 36"{one of the reasons I always wear mini skirts}. Anyway, I found these jeans over a year ago, that fitted perfectly. But now there's a big hole in them, at the back. Know where the back pockets are? It's next to the pocket and is like someones slashed them with a knife. Is there anything I can do to them? I can't wear them no more, I don't like the idea of walking down the street flashing my ass to everyone. :$

The other thing is. My two fave things are mini skirts and bags, I have lots of both. I volunteer in a charity shop and saw this really cute kids mini skirt! And I was thinking, maybe I could make it into a bag somehow?

I don't know how though, I haven't got a clue. :| Do I just sew along the bottom and add something for a strap?
