Hi:

I started lurking in this community a couple weeks ago, about the same time I started working on some very basic sewing and beading projects. I really love this site and seeing all of the amazing stuff you guys make. Anyway, this is stuff from my first jewelry making effort (most of it anyway). http://theroseroom.net/archives/000261.html It's probably pretty obvious I had not much clue as to what I was doing but in spite of that I am happy with how most of this stuff turned out. I'm giving the bulk of it away to my sisters for the holidays because we all have a similar sense of style and I don't think they'll be offended by my obviously novice efforts. =)

Anyway, I just wanted to share. Any comments or critiques are welcomed. Next I want to learn how to properly work with wire - although I'm kind of nervous about that because I think it might take more skill and patience that I posess.

(all of the supplies I used were purchased at Michael's and there's nothing really special - a couple bead kits, crimpers, fasteners, etc. So far I like the toggle clasps the best because I think they look a little nicer and are really easy to work with, and stay on well. But that's just me.)
