size 10 needles, stockinette stitch

i ironed it with a pillowcase on top to stop the curling, and it was actually quite easy to do so. yay! we celebrated "fake christmas" earlier than we usually do since her family is going on vacation (normally we celebrate it on the 23rd). also made her a hat in brown wool-ease thick&quick which i don't have photos of. boo. sorry.

chocolate chip cookies

cookies i baked from my own 'secret recipe' about a week ago. i actually did a whole new batch of cookies today (nick helped me!) and we attempted to use cookie cutters, but apparently you just can not make nice shapes with my dough, lol. we also made coconut macaroons with white & milk chocolate chips. i don't have photos from the baking process because my camera was dead, but i'll take photos of them tomorrow morning -- that is, if my mother hasn't eaten them all by then.
