So I finally finished my mom's xmess present yesterday! As you may/may not know, within the last 2 years my mom has decided to travel as much as she can, it is almost like impulse vacationing. I am never surprised when she calls me up and says "Well, I'm going to Cuba tomorrow, just saying bye!" Over Thanksgiving dinner my aunt & my mom decided they wanted to get the hell away for awhile so 5 days later they were on a plane. Anyway, my mom always writes a journal of her travels, but is just about finished the one she currently uses, so I made her a new one. While binding it, I shoved a needle right under my nail, and while cutting the covers I snapped my xacto knife in half and the point is somewhere in my kitchen.

My mom is backpacking through Mexico with some of her friends again in April & the only thing she can say in perfect Spanish is "Cerveza por favor".
