Dec. 28th, 2004 01:20 pmI got Stitch 'n Bitch Nation for Christmas (and a digital camera... so I'm going a little crazy). I'm making the poster boy bag (pg 164), but I'm doing panels rather than knitting in the round (cuz I don't know how!).
Here's how it looks so far:
This is my first time with fairisle knitting, I don't do well with patterns (that's why it's upsidedown), but what is bothering me is that the stitches where I switch colors are really loose. I am twisting about every 5 as I carry my other color along in the back, but there are little gaps in my color switches.
Stitch 'n Bitch Nation has really great patterns, it was Christmas money well spent.
Thanks!
