Jan. 12th, 2005 12:20 pmThree mini projects in three days:

The first is a pair of earrings I made using tiger wire (at that point I didn't have any earring hoops) and assorted beads - there are three loops on each.

Trying to fill my afternoon the next day (long story, we have a brother in law staying who drives me crazy and I was avoiding talking tohim) I wired a bunch of silver hot-dog type beads I had at the bottom od my box with copper wire and strung them on an old necklet.
- Fun to do but not really me.
I scored some wire yesterday and had my first go at this sort of necklace.... I must have been working on the wrong shape though, it ended up more like a collar than I had planned but it was heaps of fun. Joins and gaps get neater and tighter the longer you practice, I'm looking forward to my next one (maybe just different shades of blue). They cost a bit to make becuase there are so many beads, so I might see if I can use something other than my pay-by-the-gram glass beads next time.
