this is an old project but i just remembered today that i could share this with you girls. i made this in the summer when my parents and i went to portugal. the beach sand and seashells are really beautiful and i would go collect seashells every day when i went to the beach. i came home and was really bored and so excited that there was a craft store up the street that i ran up there and got plain old wood frames and created this with the sand and seashells...

 




i made 3 of these and gave 1 to my best friend. it's a great way to give a souvenier (sp?) when you go to somewhere theres a beach. it's almost as if you're bringing the beach home with you. i put pictures of the ocean in portugal in one of them and it looks great because it goes with the frame. my mom put a picture of me sitting on the rocks by the beach in one of the frames.
