Bamboo Knitting Needles

Hello all you loverly crafty ladies and gents!
I've just become addicted to knitting and I was
wondering who prefers bamboo needles to metal ones?
And if anyone had some reputable websites where one
could purchase bamboo or wooden needles from?
I looked through the memories (WOW lots of great info)
and didn't see anything. I also plan on joining the knitting LJ
community and will probably ask there too....Thank you Thank you!
