I'm doing this as a free hand embroidery for my parents for valentines day. I was wondering how you guys would do the outlines? Before or after you've done the "fill color"? I will probably fill it with stem stitches or split stitches but I'm not sure if I will use the same stitches for the outlines too or if I'll just use running stitches. What do you think?
