A few fabric questions

For a dress like the one she's wearing Here
What kind of fabric would you suggest?
I want it stretchy, because zippers hate me, and I hate them right back...
Would lycra, stretch satin, or something else be best?

And has anyone ordered from www.baerfabrics.com before? How is their service?
