utilization of the flower pin tutorial!

weddedblog!
i usedweddedblog's flower pin tutorial. i used leopard print fabric with a slight pile (which sucked because the non-furry side slides all over itself and makes folding a right pain in the ass). using 3.5" and 2.5" squares, this was finished in 8 petals total. on the top, i further threaded the petals together, leaving no gap to cover/fill, so its really solid! then i sewed on a big bobby pin and taa-daa! i'll glue it down soon, hopefully the next one i make won't look like a tarantula!
