My best friend recently moved to the northern hemisphere where it's all snowy and cold, so I made a scarf for her birthday. I also made two journals but I can't decide which one to send her - any advice for me??





Details of the scarf - crocheted using old bits and pieces of different blue wools. (I'm guessing all you cold weather people have no idea how excited I was to have a legitimate excuse to make something warm and woolly for someone!)




Journal #1 features this Aboriginal print - a little bit of 'Australiana' in case she's feeling homesick :)




Journal #2 I covered with this very old transport-themed wrapping paper, the colours didn't scan very accurately but you get the idea. I think she'd really like the retro-ness (real word?!) of this one, but since she's moved there and doesn't need a 'travel journal' as such I thought I might save it to give to another good friend who's going away later in the year...

... but I keep changing my mind!! I need to post it soon, so any input into helping me decide will be greatly appreciated <3<3<3
