i made a clutch purse this afternoon.




i made it out of some fabric scraps that i had lying around. i also got to try out my new machines buttonhole feature.


i lined it with black poplin.

i'll definetely change how i sewed in the lining next time. i'll also try and make sure that its not crooked. i think i did well for a first attempt at making a clutch purse. i also didn't measure anything so its pretty straight considering. i made a rough pattern for next time.


the scraps were from this dress that i made to wear to the big day out last month. my dress was inspired by Jem and the Holograms.
