crazy rainbow zebra print skirt

I bought this zebra print skirt for a buck or two from the thrift store. I planned on dying it purple but aperantly fake fur doesn't accept dye well. At least this stuff didn't. So I colored the stripes rainbowy with sharpies instead...







I'm just afraid that it will get ruined the first time I have to wash it. Anyone else ever happen to color their clothes with sharpies? Did it survive the wash?
