[identity profile] lisaroseit.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
Hey guys and gals! I've been a long-time lurker (like a year and a half) I'm just very self-concious about my work, plus I don't know how to do lj cuts and all that jazz, but I will be posting some projects soon. So onto my question:

I loved the silk-screening tutorial (the one with the cow that says friend) so I got some panty-hose and my modge podge and decided to get to work. Everything looks good, but the modge podge doesn't go on thik enough to create a barrier for the ink, my ink just goes straight through everywhere. Has anyone used panty-hose for this method before, i've seen people use tulle, but I was just wondering how thick the madge-podge has to be, do I have to do like 50 coats? Thanks everyone ahead of time!

Sorry for the text-only post!
