Feb. 23rd, 2005 03:51 pmHere's some cardboard (+ assorted other materials) photo frames I made a while back.

Square frame 'woven' with strips of old cream folder dividers. The picture opening's about 10cm x 10cm (I've got origami paper in there at the moment).

Same again but with orange cardboard.

Same idea as the first two but much much smaller, using purple curling ribbon instead of cardboard strips and with a magnet on the back. In real life that kind of checkerboard pattern is a lot less distinct... it looks all metallic and shiny and a lot more purple!

This was a practice run for a frame I was making a friend out of corrugated cardboard. I painted it with the closest paint handy - which turned out to be a rather dull shade of brown not much different from the cardboard itself, but I thought it quite suited this 'mudbath' postcard.
So there you go!
Nothing too groundbreaking, but it keeps me out of trouble ;)
