Jewelry Box!
Feb. 28th, 2005 12:22 pmHello, hello, usual spiel, long-time lurker, first-time poster (Well, first time posting with something other than questions), finally have a digital cam, blah blah blah, MY CRAFTINESS!
Yeah, sorry they're so huge, but I use my boyfriend's computer, and he lives about 150+ miles away, and we were... busy this weekend. yeah. So it's a miracle I had a minute to upload them period. =o)
Anyway, this is a jewelry box I bought from Michael's and repainted and decorated for my Grandmama's birthday. I haven't had a chance to give it to her yet, though, 'cuz I'm a horrible grandchild.

The lid, which is painted and then decorated with mini-beads in clear, black, and red (the clear ones are over the white and gold paint)

One of the sides. Painted, then decoupaged with scrapbook paper and mini-versions of Toulouse-Lautrec paintings.

The inside. Just painted... still figuring out how to "line" the boxes, as I'm kinda learning as I go, as I do with most crafts.
I also make jewelry and will soon be making doll clothes (once my Pullip arrives), but I keep forgetting to take pics of my jewelry, so you'll have to wait another month for that.
Thanks for looking, and apologies again for the huge pics!
