Crafting instead of doing schoolwork
Feb. 28th, 2005 08:07 pmCrafting is my brain's defense mechanism, I swear. I totally have a 6 page paper due in two days that I haven't even started. XD
I got a bunch of felt in the mail from an LJ user and decided to make felt pins. This is the only one I've finished, and it's mad cute.

I saw the Gates this Saturday and the volunteers hadn't run out of fabric swatches yet (How can this be?) so I asked nicely for one and decided to make it into a hairpin so I can wear the Gates with me forever. haha, I'm such an art nerd.

I tried to get a photo of it in my hair but my mirror wasn't cooperating and my camera's batteries were low so I said screw it.
And these I made a long time ago (December ish?) but I don't think I got around to posting them?

A guitar pick bag for my boyfriend. I used iron on transfer paper, nothing special.

Sorry if these are blurry. This is a tiny little bag I made to practice the Jordy bag tutorial (Not trusting my own sewing skills, I wanted to make sure I could do it before I cut up my good fabric. :O).
