craftgrrl...overstuffed, bloated fleece walrus with headphones and a lightsaber.
Basically, today is my friend's 16th birthday, and I am dirt poor, so last night I decided I'd make her something. So I went up to my room, got out the scissors and thread, and this is what appeared.
The beard is made of a scrap of fake fur fabric left over from my Halloween costume. I forgot to put tusks in but I think it looks okay anyway.
The headphones have velcro on the inside, so they stay on. I embroidered a little "L" and "R" onto each one, but you can't tell in this photo.
And his lightsaber is one of those wooden kebab sticks, colored green with a marker and with a fleece/velcro handle so he can hold it.
Turned out we have a snow day today, so I might not see her anyway. XD (Good thing, because I was too busy making the walrus to remember my Latin homework.)
