Does anyone remember years ago when those bubble bags where in fashion.. you used the little tube to blow into it and little plastic pockets would blow up and look all bubbly .. kind of like this..



WELL... here's my latest craftyish creation

about 5 years ago i got one of these type of bags i got as a free gift from a fashion magazine called "big"...


The bag was in the style of one of those clutch type bags which isnt quite my thing so decided i would change it to something i would use rather than throw it out...

* first i cut off the plastic handle/strap
* laid the bag flat and used a craft knife to make slits at the bottom of each bubble pocket * removed the tube thing you use to blow it up
* Got two D-rings and attached them to each side of the bag using both superglue and sewing over the top to keep it secure.. this made attachments for the strap.
* gathered a variety of pictures that would fill each of the bubble pockets and pushed them inside the pockets..
* using a strap from another old bag.. attached it to this bag using clips onto the d-rings
* used a velcro fastening for inside the bag
and this is the result





sorry the pictures dont show it to well.. couldnt get the flash to turn off and the plastic reflected the light :(...
but anyway thats it.. and i'm quite happy with the way it turned out and i actually use it which is the amazing thing, hope you like it x
