Cat Crinkly Bag

My birthday present from my mom was a Brother XL-3800, which I promptly put to good use.

I took a heavy-duty plastic GAP bag that I used to keep fabric scraps in, and sewed two fabric bags of matching size, one from blue denimy material, the other from a soft white baby-blanket material. I sprinkled catnip in to both bags, popped them all in to each other with the plastic bag in the middle, folded the top edges over and hemmed it all up.

Now my cats have a heavy-duty crinkly catnip bag, and I didn't have to spend $14 at the store for it. It also stands on it's own, so I use it to store their toys in it when I clean up!
