CD drop spindle?

So, I was looking into spinning, and I saw the post with instructions for makeing a drop spindle out of old cd's and a dowel.

But, I am just not getting a good visual, and I can't seem to find any pictures of the finished spindle.

If someone could point me to a picture of this, I'd be grateful.
