decoupage table

I really wanted a nightstand-type table for my dorm room, so my dad built this table to my specifications, and then I had the brilliant idea to decoupage it with comic strips. I saved up a couple of sunday newspapers and then just went at it with the mod podge. I was planning to coat it with some polyeurethene for extra sealant, but I couldn't find a good place to do something that needed serious ventilation, and the mod podge seems to be waterproof enough, albeit sticky.
