I wouldn't normally post about a stenciled shirt I did in here, but when I mentioned it a few months ago, people wanted to see the finished product, so I'm going to post it anyway.  Warning to stencil haters, this is a stencil!  The only "surgerizing" I did was mending the shirt.  The entire left side wasn't sewn together for some reason.  woo.

I "made a shirt" for my boyfriend for the Elvis Costello concert a couple weeks ago.  This is it...

This is the back of the shirt.  I didn't realize until now what an awful pic of the back it really is.  I'll try to post a better one (with another surgery I'm actually going to do) tomorrow, but my mom has my camera right now.

This is My boyfriend, Sean, with the Elvis Costello!  Elvis signed it and everything.  He said that he thinks it's a really rad shirt.  We got a lot of comments on it at the concert, so I felt pretty good.

Also....  This has never happened to me before, but apparently there are some decent people in those tard rating communities.  If you didn't see it earlier, someone posted, promoting some community and I went nutzo on the community and posted to them.  I said that it really sucked that they had a rule against promoting in their own community, but required, as part of their application, for people to promote in other communities, but didn't require that they posted in ones allowing promoting.  I got a couple of rude comments, then this fro mthe mod:

score 1 for tshirt_surgery!

BTW - i think it might be a good idea if, instead of posting lyrics and other un-related junk on the links to something, that we actually described what people were going to click so that if the people don't want to see a "cosmetic surgery", then they have warning.  If we label what people are about to click on, then it would also eliminate the need for a "teaser" pic, which people have complained about before, too, because it takes forever to load.  Just an idea.
