India Journals
Mar. 18th, 2005 09:54 amThese are three journals I did with goodies from Leandra at PaperArtsy:

The stamped area is done with Thermogauze. I rubbed it with chalk inks, and then stamped with black dye ink. Then I blasted it with a heat gun, and the Thermogauze started to decay and scorch. It's a little fragile, even after sealing it with a heavy coat of spray sealer, but I like the effect.
The handmade papers are done with viscose fibers, using the silk paper technique I have posted on my site. The purple one has flowers in it from the hydrangeas the girls at the office sent when my dad passed away last March. This is the first time I've used them---it's just been too hard to think about until now.
