I've decided to have a tea party for my birthday and I thought since we don't have any nice napkins, it'd be neat to make and embroider my own. I'm no good at drawing, so I found some designs on the internet that I'd like to use for the embroidery and thought I'd print them out on iron-on transfer paper to use on my napkins. However, I'm having a very hard time with the transfers. I'm using the Office Max brand and it didn't come with any instructions whatsoever. I've experimented a bit, but I'm not getting much of anywhere. The design is half on the paper and half on the test cloth. Also, the design comes off on this weird peely film that I don't really want to have on my napkins. Is that just how transfer paper works? Can I get it to come off after I embroider? What should I do to get a clean transfer?
