So I just discovered that I'm going to college next year (total shock, I was really not expecting it...it's a long story.) Anyway I'm looking around for really fun and snazzy comforters/duvet covers, etc. I've looked at all the usual places (Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens 'N' Things, Delia*s, Urban Outfitters, anyplace I can think of) for something along those lines. I'm beginning to think the best bet is for me to make my own...

How the heck do I go about making a duvet cover? (I'm pretty much a rank beginner.) Any ideas for the duvet cover itself (when/if I make it?) And any ideas of any other places to look for vibrant, exciting bedding before I flog myself into submission and start this duvet cover?
