craftgrrlI would like to make a gun that shoots Marshmallow Peeps. Kind of like a potato gun.
Don't ask why. It just has to be done. I want to make the Peeps go *splat* against the side of a building.
I have a year. I'm assembling this entirely from scratch, and I also plan to make it pretty, so I count it as a craft project. Mods, feel free to delete this post if you think otherwise. But dangit, I will have my glittery yellow Peep gun!
One of my friends knows someone who knows someone who made something similar out of PVC pipe and other bits, but he didn't have specifics for me. Frankly, I'm not 100% sure where to start. Have any of you tried something like this before? Creating a functional object like this by hand? If so, can you share any tips?
Just so this post isn't text-only, here are some arm warmers and a scarf I made from leftover pajama flannel. The PJ pants turned out horribly (they were for a beginner's sewing class), but I like what became of the scraps. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this fabric makes me smile.
Fear my amateur sewing skills! Fear my hidden face! Fear my striped PJ pants! But love the ducks, for they are cheerful. And warm.
